There is very little evidence 142 and 24 are the same persons here. I fail to see what supported banning 142 under the affirmation he is 24, the latter not even being banned any more.
Or is this an incorrect interpretation?
Please, do provide evidence to support your conviction these adresses are from the same person, and further evidence that both require banning.
I joined this discussion late, but I have somewhat conclusive proof that 142 and 24 are different people. I live in eastern Canada and am familiar with those IP addresses:
ns.sympatico.ca is the Nova Scotia branch of a national dial-up ISP run by an alliance of local telephone companies called Stentor.
Rogers is a Canadian cable TV and internet company, however, they have little to no presence (at least as far as TV is concerned) in Nova Scotia. The IP seems to imply that 24 is in London, Ontario. Rogers does seem to operate in London, since their website lists a TV cable channel lineup for that city. I am pretty sure Rogers does not provide Internet access in cities where they do not have cable TV.
Unless this person zips back and forth between the two cities, I would have to say that you're dealing with two different people here.
