As a reminder, folks; once the faster machine(s) have been tested to our satisfaction, we'll have to shut the databases down completely for the transfer. I don't know how long the downtime will be, but it will likely be a few hours; hopefully this will be in the middle of the night for most contributors in Europe and America (sorry, Asia!)
Read-only cached pages will be available during downtime, but editing won't be possible.
