Thank you for the answers. Although I find the layout of these WikiProjects a bit confusing, I think for now I'll just start adding some articles then.

We have a bunch of articles on animals already--especially birds--and that information would be available either to include, or as a starting point if you wanted to write longer or differently-styled articles.
