How do I do a cross-language image? I just
translated the [[Rosetta Stone]]
article into French and made an [[en:Image:]]
link, which ended up at the top
of the page next to the link to the English
article looking odd.
Currently, there are only two ways to do this, both ugly:
- Use the direct URL for the image file. (No link
to image description page, won't be shown in the links list.)
- Upload a copy of the image on the other
language's wiki.

Hi Brion,
currently, within the text, we can use some [[w.nameofarticle]] which send us to the en.wiki; and some [[m:nameofpage]] which send us to the meta.wiki.
What options could be available to make similar links within pages to link international wikis ? And how to differenciate them from the links to other languages at the top of the pages (are these the ones you call magic links ?)
