Hi .I tried to begin a relationship with one of the developers, but it mainly ended in me waiting for months and then finally repetitively using AIM (instant chat) to drill information out of him. 1 of my bugs was dealt with, 2 were ignored, and then Brion became extremely confrontational with me after a spat over some image copyright issues. Anyway See: http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk%3ABrion_VIBBER_(archive) (search for "hfastedge" multiple times on the page)
All of the developers have different concerns. Brion does a bang-up job keeping the site running well, and getting all of the international wikis upand running. Fixing bugs in the software is not a priority of his, not the least reason for which is that he didn't write the thing. I did, and it is my current focus to improve the software (I just finished writing a test suite and doing some benchmarks). So if there are bugs that annoy you, I'm probably the one to badger.
That said, just because you see something as a bug that doesn't mean it's going to be a priority of mine either.
