Besides that, the major players in the fight against the Moldovan Wikipedia are and have always been Romanians:
Dpotop Bonaparte (banned on the English Wikipedia for sockpuppetry) Bogdangiusca
In fact, Bogdangiusca is now an admin, and he has abused his admin powers to promote his views re: mo.wiki's existance.
Dpotop is the major author of the e-mail Bogdangiusca sent.
Bonaparte is responsible for vandalism and user harassment on mowiki.

I hate to say, but I find myself agreeing with Node about this. It seems absurd to me that Romanians should be allowed to participate in the vote, to the exclusion of all others. It would be similar to having a vote on closing the Scots wikipedia, where only English and Scots voters were permitted to voice an opinion.
Note that I'm not disputing the facts that "Moldovian" and "Romanian" are essentially the same language, or the assertation that all the content on mo.wiki is rubbish, but it seems grossly unfair to me to gerrymander the electorate in such a way as to exclude many people who might have a legitimate point of view.

I have to object to this summary. There are a number of things about the vote which were unfair. Please see http://mo.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Node_ue/Rezultat_alegeri_-_%D0%A0%D0%B5%D

Note especially points 2, 3, 4, and 5.
It seems highly suspect to me that of all voters (the dozens and dozens of them), only 6 are actually "from Moldova", and even that cannot be confirmed.
I should note that I, for one, boycotted the vote; other votes were deleted unfairly.
