It's a small thing, but if possible make that [[Elves ()]] - note the extra space
It's just a little more consistent - the less difference between the shortcut and the final article, the better. In this case it expands the required part between brackets, but does not add an extra space where none was typed.
Of course, if [[Elves()]] on [[Middle Earth]] becomes [[Elves(Middle Earth)]] that serves the same purpose, but it looks funny.
