I'm not sure for Helium you can really argue there's much debate over what the dominant usage is; a fictional empire, a band, an obscure dialect of a programming language... and an element. And we only have articles for two of them.
But, yes, if there is any significant doubt then having a "main" disambiguation page is a good idea. This is especially the case for personal names - see [[en:John Smith]] or [[en:John Brown]] for an example, where if I polled this list as to the "most significant" example I'd probably get three popular choices and arguments for a dozen more.
