We have not yet set timelines for future Project grants rounds. We are currently drafting our next annual plan as part of the Foundation's annual planning process. This is happening a little later than last year, because it's being developed after the Foundation's Medium Term Plan (currently under community review). [1] Once our next plan is complete, we will set timelines and share them, as noted on the Project Grants Meta page. [2]

Rapid grants are also terribly slow and totally behind the proposed deadlines. They take months to get approved. Valuable events and partnerships have been and are being ruined because of this. This delay and slowness is absolutely unexplainable. I recall people mentioning here in the list that this slowness is due to resources being diverted to the strategy process. I hope it is not, otherwise it is better to extinguish it for good, as there is no point in ruining the present attempting to prepare for the future.
Anyway, WMF, please look into this, as it is one of the most serious issues we are facing today, as a wikimedia affiliate. Most probably the worst one.
