Rapid grants are also terribly slow and totally behind the proposed
deadlines. They take months to get approved. Valuable events and
partnerships have been and are being ruined because of this. This delay and
slowness is absolutely unexplainable. I recall people mentioning here in
the list that this slowness is due to resources being diverted to the
strategy process. I hope it is not, otherwise it is better to extinguish it
for good, as there is no point in ruining the present attempting to prepare
for the future.
Anyway, WMF, please look into this, as it is one of the most serious issues
we are facing today, as a wikimedia affiliate. Most probably the worst one.
