As I had to update the config files for pywikipediabot for CommonsDelinker, I thought I might as well inform you of the 15 new Wikimedia wikis that were created today[1,2].
* ['wikinews']['cs'] * ['wikinews']['hu'] * ['wikipedia']['ext'] * ['wikipedia']['gan'] * ['wikipedia']['hif'] * ['wikipedia']['kaa'] * ['wikipedia']['mdf'] * ['wikipedia']['myv'] * ['wikipedia']['sah'] * ['wikipedia']['srn'] * ['wikipedia']['szl'] * ['wikisource']['ln'] * ['wikiversity']['cs'] * ['wikiversity']['ja'] * ['wikiversity']['pt']
Thanks go to Tim[3] for creating them. In general all the languages for which wikis have been created have a fair to excellent localisation status. Your continued efforts on this are appreciated. Please visit http://translatewiki.net and get those languages to 100% across the board[4].
Cheers! Siebrand

I know there's a great number of people around Foundation-l who will be happy to know this is done.

Yes, now I hope the articles from the Incubator can be transferred quickly and seamlessly so editors can start work at their new Wikis soon.

Can they be? Aren't there licensing concerns to be contended with? The Incubator is just GFDL, the new wikis (if memory serves) are GFDL+CC-by-SA.
Hoi, It is for the ommunities to sort out this mess. I doubt very much that anyone involved in the new projects will complain. Thanks, GerardM

Each contributor would have to move their own stuff, or agree to place it under the dual licence. If most or all contributors agree to the dual licence, then it can just be moved.

No, the content of the new wikis is dual-licensed from the date they leave the Incubator. Content that was created on the Incubator can remain GFDL-only. It's a mess, but at least it's a workable mess.

No it isn't because of the concept of derivative works. Wikis cannot be meaningfully under more than 1 license.

In that case the wikis cannot realistically be dual-licensed. I'm afraid that's a mess that will need to be dealt with by the communities and Erik or the board.
For the record, it was li.wiksource.org (Limburgish) that was created, not ln.wikisource.org (Lingála).

I think that should be ['wikisource']['li']. No Lingala Wikisource was created.
