One needs to make a distinction between votes about
resolutions in
general and votes where personalities may be involved. If there are
personalities involved insisting on reasons can only exacerbate the problem.
If a member of the board does not have complete confidence in the
chair, that's a serious problem, and I think trying to keep that quiet
can only exacerbate the problem. The good of the foundation has to
take precedence over Florence's feelings - she made that decision by
joining the board.
