Hey,
I see that you fixed the names of the cities in Serbia when I click on "Browse by campaign", so, I don't see the question marks anymore (good job!). But, the problem is that only the first 7 characters of a city name are shown. My other suggestion would be that you leave all the names in latin alphabet, because any foreigners that would want to use the app while travelling through Serbia could have troubles with the cyrillic alphabet.
Thanks a lot, you've done a really great job so far! Tamara
Thanks for the feedback. Could you add it to http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Monuments_mobile_application/Feedba... then the developers can see it too.
Thanks!
Lodewijk

That's because adm1 in monuments_all has only space for 7 characters. (are city names being stored there, now? They should be provinces, ideally the codes from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:RS I guess the Општина field (district) is storing the names of those places?)

Platonides is correct - what is more, we cannot show latin characters (or translations) for those names since they are hardcoded, static names. If the values get changed to the iso-3166-2 subdivision codes, then we will be able to display the region names in a user's language/alphabet (provided we have the appropriate translations).
