Hi everyone,
Europa Nostra published a list of 14 most endangered monuments in Europe. From these they will select the 7 most endangered ones. You can find it at http://www.europanostra.org/7-most-endangered/ . Maybe fun to write some articles about these? They might be willing to include links to the articles if we have these available.

I can easily write about Durres amphiteatre, been there recently and have some pictures. It looks like at least on the English Wikipedia this article does not exist (did not check other Wikipedias). I will try to do it later today, after a more thorough check.
Cheers Yaroslav

Hello everyone, I'm Sven and I just joined this mailing list.
I very much like the idea of compiling a list of endangered monuments/cultural heritage sites, and believe that we should expand the page that Maarten created to include other vulnerable sites from other parts of the world. It might even be valuable to create some sort of incentive (perhaps a special WLM prize for whomever takes the best photo of a monument on the endangered list) in order to make sure that the most vulnerable monuments/cultural heritage sites are photo-documented. In case anyone here has not read it, the Wikipedia Signpost Op-Ed "There is a deadline" [1] focuses on this issue.
Cheers,
Sven Manguard

The Roșia Montana case in Romania is a very heated debate with both sides being very aggressive and misleading with a lot of FUD thrown around. I can't come with an objective article about it, nor want to take part in FUD spreading.

I have put the list in the Dutch Village Pump to be translated and the articles to be created. Maybe other Wikipedias can do the same. It would be good to mention a new article creation here if it has no interwiki's yet.
Who want to put the list in your language Villege Pump? Who want to write these articles?
