Hi all
As this is the first time that the UK has participated in the competition, we’re having to draft our national rules and list of awards from scratch. Our current thoughts are set out at
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2013_in_the_U...
and I’d really appreciate any feedback from those of you who have previous experience and can perhaps point out any potential pitfalls in our draft.
Many thanks
Michael

My feedback is totally positive: I read your rules page and like it a lot, well done! There's nothing I would add to it. In my country (Romania) we have no freedom of panorama, so we had to include that restriction, but is not your case.

Looks good!
One suggestion regarding the email address. Last year we had one international winner that claimed to have activated his email address and confirmed it, but then didn't allow emails to be sent. Strictly following the rules, that was OK. Perhaps that is something you want to take into consideration in your phrasing (provide & confirm, activate? Not sure what would be a proper English wording so won't edit myself).

Hi All
We just made our own Campaign for WLM-China, but have some question.
1. Why we can not use CC-BY-SA-3.0-CN as default choice of license?
Link to License: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:Cc-by-sa-3.0-cn
2. We already have the ID of each Monuments, but how to use it in fields area of Campaign?
Link to Monuments ID: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2013_in_Chin...
3. Does "filed" is necessary in Campaign? On this page: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Campaign:wlm-cn
Thanks!
Addis Wang
Hello Addis Wang,
1. I think because there is none. -cn means that a team in that country has re-written this license based on the standards of China. I don't think that did happen.
2. Uploaders fill in the ID of a monument in the field in the upload wizard. See for example the template used in another campaign (wlm-nl): https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:Rijksmonument
3. Yes it is necessary to have the field because in that way it is easy to identify a particular monument. Also there is a monument database used by bots so a lot of tools and use is available.
Greetings, Romaine

Just needs to be added to the extension. I'll probably do that in the next couple of days.
