Hey Education fans!
I've put together a list of education-focused events during Wikimania 17. I
hope it helps!
As you will see, the program has been arranged to facilitate following
tracks, including an education track. It is fairly easy to follow said
track by looking at the headers of the different columns in the program.
Notice: Do check the program daily for rooms and times as they are subject
to change. [1]
Friday, August 11
This will be a big day for education. Make sure to rest as much as you can
on thursday evening, and load up with enough caffeine for the day. :)
On Friday morning, the education events will be happening in room “Drummond
Center” (level 3) from 11:00 to 12:30.
On Friday afternoon, we will move to Ballroom West (level 4), from 14:00 to
15:30. Then to Ballroom Center (level 4) from 16:00 to 17:00.

I can’t find an event that has a specific education focus. Time to
socialize and learn from the larger movement, maybe?
Sunday, August 13
On Sunday morning, we’re back on Drummond Center (level 3), from 11:30 to
12:30.
On Sunday afternoon, we’re on to Drummond East (level 3), from 14:00 to

Wikipedia and Medicine, A Year in Review
https://wikimania2017.wikimedia.org/wiki/Submissions/Wikipedia_and_Medicine…
(while the talk’s description doesn’t specify much with regards to
education, we know that a significant amount of the contents that are
generated in that project come from collaborations with universities)

keeping abreast of improvements and what’s happening with translation
should be useful to most education program leaders)
