Preparations for Wikimedia UK's EduWiki Conference 2014 https://wikimedia.org.uk/wiki/EduWiki_Conference_2014 are now in full swing. The event will take place on Friday 31 October 2014 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Registration is open until Monday 6 October https://donate.wikimedia.org.uk/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=99; the reduced rate for Wikimedians is £25. Details about accommodation options at and around the conference venue https://wikimedia.org.uk/wiki/EduWiki_Conference_2014/Accommodation have also been released.
A limited budget to support scholarships for the conference has been allocated and applications; please contact me by Monday 29 September if you wish to apply for a scholarship. Kindly direct any other personal questions or concerns about EduWiki to me either via email or the appropriate wiki talk page.
We hope to see many members of the Wikimedia global movement and open knowledge community at the conference, especially because representatives from the newly founded Wikipedia Education Collaborative https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/About/Wikipedia_Education_Collaborative will also be in Edinburgh at this time.
Spread the word, please! :-)
Thanks and best regards,
Toni
