Who wants to try to invite Stanford to join the WEP?
I bet the guy from CSLU who was willing to host their Wikimania bid would help.
Best regards, James Salsman
Hi James,
Kevin Gorman is the regional ambassador for the area that includes California. I suggest that you contact him or the Wiki Education Foundation about this idea.

That has no instructors linked, even though it says it started in May. But this is certainly excellent news:

Generally, we have so many interested instructors who approach us at this point that we don't actively recruit individuals to join, so we wouldn't reach out to Stanford to convince them to join the Wikipedia Education Program. But if any instructors are interested in participating, they are welcome to approach us -- encourage them to send an email to contact@wikiedfoundation.org for more details.

In future semesters, it's likely that I'll be working with Stanford on a direct level on a decently widespread basis if everything works out well. They have the advantage of being quite close to Berkeley, and I've been speaking with them for some time about the idea of Stanford engaging with the USEP in a more intense/institutionally supported process than is typical of most schools :)
Best, Kevin Gorman
