I don't know if anyone has helped you out yet? In case not, here's a little information to get you started:

- if you want to learn how to edit, this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Introductionhas a nice easy tutorial - if the Wikipedia you are using has a visual editor (it's explained in the tutorial) then using bold & italic is very simple. You just use the menu bar at the top to change the font that way. - if you want to change the colour of the text, it's more complicated. You have to use the source editor (that editor is also explained in the tutorial). Then you will have to write a little code (using colour names or hex codes) to change the colours; e.g.

<span style="color:red">red writing</span> shows as red writing <span style="color:#0f0">green writing</span> shows as green writing <span style="color:#0000FF">blue writing</span> shows as blue writing

However, most of the time Wikipedia editors don't like you to change the font colour.
