Dear Education enthusiasts,
Some of you may have heard that Cycle 1 of the movement strategy process is over and the second round has already opened. Below are some details on the results of round 1, as well as details on round 2. You can help by doing 2 things: 1 - *Help share these details with your local communities*, especially in case they do not have community liaisons, and then share your personal / local thoughts on these themes there. 2 - *Participate in cycle 2 from an EDU-Wiki perspective (which is where we need your help) - * Our efforts around the world are dedicated to spreading the use of Wikipedia & its sister projects as teaching and learning tools, in the hope of not only creating high quality information in wiki projects, but also help students develop relevant 21 century skills. As mentioned, most of our work is done locally and you are all encouraged to give your personal / local feedback via your local affiliates or directly into the designated Cycle 2 page. However, *we also have EDU-Wiki needs that are global and relevant to all of us.* It is therefore important that we don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to let our joint voice be heard *as a united group*. To that end, we are facilitating a discussion on each of the 5 themes from a *Wiki in Education perspective. * You voice matters. So please share your thoughts & ideas. If you have any questions, please ping me here or personally.
Best, Shani.
