The Open Education Southern Symposiumhttps://openedss.uark.edu/ (OESS) planning committee is excited to announce that the next symposium will be held July 16 – 17, 2020 on the North Carolina State University campus in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Open Education Southern Symposium is a day and a half event for open education practitioners and advocates, both new and experienced, to gather, learn, and share.
When: Thursday, July 16 – Friday, July 17 Where: James B. Hunt Jr. Library, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC Cost: $99 Theme: Open Connections: Regional and Local Community Building for Equity and Sustainability Keynote: Anita Walz, Assistant Director of Open Education and Scholarly Communication Librarian, Virginia Tech

Registration is set to open in early January 2020.
Call for Volunteers: We are looking for 4 volunteers to join the planning committee as part of our program committee. If you are interested in helping review program proposals and create the OESS program in 2020, please visit our volunteer formhttps://forms.gle/2Dj1mMY9EFobx2Vw9 to submit your information and find out more about the expectations. Deadline to submit is Jan. 3rd. Please note all program committee members will be listed publicly on our website and in printed programs.
