Dear colleagues,

This is the first such precedent in Tatar-speaking world, in the Republic of Tatarstan and, possibly, even within the Russian Federation. I'm obviously proud to have been mentoring the guy within Selet WikiSchool project https://tt.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%92%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%...

That's great news Farhad! I have been using the Wikimedia projects in my High School classes since 2007, and last year was my first time to complete a project in Middle School: here https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/Newsletter/May_2017/A_pilot_project_in_Greece,_a_videoconference_in_Israel_and_a_tool_for_all_educators is the newsletter article (I am not teaching at the same school this year so I won't have the chance to follow up our work, but i do have a High School class and I am trying to get some of them to work on Wikidata, if only to translate labels and descriptions of items in their fields of interest).
I had a look at the article... wow! looks like good quality work (of course, I can't understand a word :) )
Keep up the good work and keep us informed! Best from Kefalonia, Greece:-)
Mina
