Hi all,
my recent "Ten ways educators can use Wikipedia" article has gone down so
well that I've been asked for follow-up articles. The first one of these is
out today as a guest post on the CILIP blog. CILIP is the Chartered
Institute of Library and Information Professionals, so this is a way to
reach a lot of the library community, including university librarians who
support courses or deliver student inductions.
The article expands on a few of the "Ten ways".

Again, the contents nothing new to the people on this list, but hopefully
useful for reaching librarians and educators who hadn't seen the relevance
of Wikipedia to their work.
The "Ten ways" article is at

Amongst others on this list, I should credit Alex Stinson who started me
off with lots of these ideas and introduced me to Is/Is Not exercises which
I still use in my workshops.
Cheers,
