Hi all! I'd like to know if there is any IP block for many registrations at a time in English Wikipedia. I'm aware of the problem in Portuguese Wikipedia, where I have conducted a number of edit-a-thons.
I'm planning a couple of edit-a-thons at Florida State University this month. For the first one, related to the Bridges across Cultures contest [1], I guess there will be less than 10 people, maybe up to 20 for the next one.
Thank you, Juliana

Thank you, Federico. And how do I ask for the noratelimit right? I'm not sure exactly what the "relevant user group" means.
"You only need to login on each machine with an account with noratelimit right;[3] if you don't have one, ask yours to be added to the relevant user group"

Thanks for your question, it helps make the documentation clearer. I suppose the footnote "Search it in the local Special:ListGroupRights " is not clear enough.
For the English Wikipedia that would be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:ListGroupRights , where the first result for a search "noratelimit" is "Account creators" which links to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Account_creator which has some advice. (If you choose to go this way.)

Btw, and hijacking my own thread here, I noticed there are some important differences for editing rules between WP:EN and WP:PT, such as draft reviews or being unable to start new pages as an unregistered user in WP:EN (is that right? The help pages on that are a bit confusing).
While I was already expecting something of that sort, I was also curious to know if there's any systematic survey/comparison chart of variations like these in different languages.

I'd consider the article creation restrictions just a bug, but there's something at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Cross-project_comparisons.

Very interesting material, with lots of work to be done. Perhaps someone would be interested in setting up a project for a detailed comparison?
And, Portuguese Wikipedia colleagues, there's almost nothing about us there!
All the best, Juliana
