Hello all:)
I have been waiting for an email or Meta post inviting editors to submit stories for the June Wikipedia in Education Newsletter. I have checked all the relevant wiki spaces and there's nothing there. Had we not returned to the monthly format? Am I missing out on something?
I have important stories to share, and I'm sure other educators around the world do also: this is the end of the school year for most countries. All the work we have been doing all year has matured, our students have worked hard with impressive results. Please confirm that there will be an opportunity for us to share our achievements before summer vacation begins.
Nichole Saad, looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

Dear Mina and all,
My apologies if myself and the Newsletter Team have dropped the ball on requesting articles for the May edition of "This Month in Education." This has been an especially busy and travel filled month. However,* please understand that you may submit your article to the newsroom at any time*. As long as your article is submitted before the deadline, it will make it into that month's issue. The issue for May will go out today. You have until June 20th to submit your article for the June newsletter, and I encourage you to do so.
The submission deadline for each month's newsletter is the *20th of the month*. Kindly check the publication guidelines https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/News/Publication_Guidelines for all the relevant information on how the newsletter is published each month. Each month, if you submit in the Newsroom https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/Newsletter/Newsroom by the deadline, your article will be published. Finally, if you need an extension on the deadline, kindly reach out to me and I will see if we have the bandwidth to accommodate your request. Most likely we will.
Thank you for your email, and for your contributions to our community newsletter. I hope I have clarified how you can participate.
all the best,
Nichole
