I see a priest class forming. Purebloods, mudbloods all over again. To hell with regular people, we only serve ourselves, the noble true ones.

Each user of wiki with good faith want to share free knowledge but not each of users can be called true wikimedian. Also not everybody who is willing to share free knowledge is a wikimedian at all :) Sure there is no scale for it and everybody has his own opinion about what to call true wikimedian :) --Base

If they are to be true wikimedians they need to learn wikimarkup anyway and VE isn't very stable yet so i dont think such and option will be usefull. And i suppose if you uncheck opting-out it would be equal to checking opting-in. --Base 15.10.2013 13:59, Charles Andrès написав(ла):
Thanks, but in FR.Wikipedia.org http://fr.wikipedia.org/ you only have the opt-out option (disable visual editor) :-(

Hello Charles,
I don't think there is a way to for this in the registration process.
To enable or disable Visual Editor. Login
- Go to ---> *Preferences* --> Click *Editing* tab.
- At the bottom of Editing page, Check or uncheck the box beside *Enable
VisualEditor (only in the main https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Main_namespace and user https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:User_namespace namespaces)*
OR
Follow this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing Then repeat step 2 above.
Hope it helps.
Thanks.

Dear all,
In our new education program with youngs in scholar difficulties, we have the problem that only half of the new accounts have the visual editor activated, it's quite annoying to have two teach two way of editing.
Is there a trick to force the activation of Visual Editor for a specific user?
Thanks
Charles
