It occurred to me that this announcement never made its way to the education list -- so better late than never! Rod Dunican is back with the Wikimedia Foundation as the global education program director, and he will be working with Annie and me, taking over the strategic direction role in light of Frank Schulenburg's promotion [1]. Please reach out to Rod at rdunican at wikimedia dot org for items that you used to reach out Frank about.

Hi All,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome Rod Dunican back to the Wikimedia family. Many of you may know Rod as the Public Policy Initiative Project Manager, a role in which he spearheaded the start of the Wikipedia Education Program. Rod has agreed to join us again as the Global Education Program Director, in charge of building systems that enable quality at scale in different educational environments. Annie and LiAnna will report to Rod, and Rod will report to me.
Aside from the obvious extensive background in the Wikipedia Education Program, Rod brings experience in instructional design, project management, and leadership to this role.
Welcome, Rod!
Frank
