Yes, indeed. Perhaps Frank can speak to the Global Education team's communication, whether by blog or on this list.
I'll chime in here -- we're already seeing some excellent work come out of our India Education Program, where classes started in July. More than 1,000 students are participating; you can see the courses students are working on here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:India_Education_Program/Courses
Classes are just now starting in the U.S. and Canada, and we anticipate having around 1,800 students participating in each country as well; see the following links for those courses -- keep in mind that most are just having their first week of classes either this week or in the next few weeks, so they haven't really gotten started yet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Canada_Education_Program/Courses http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:United_States_Education_Program/Cours...
Thanks for sharing your blog, Juliana! And I do encourage you, as Asaf said, to update us with reports to the list -- I encourage anyone running a Wikipedia assignment at any level of student and any country to do the same!
