I agree, it's confusing and not inclusive. Wikimedia activities in education need to be flexible: in many cases Wikipedia is just not a viable option. Wikisource, Wikiquote, Wikibooks, Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata etc. have proven to be essential educational tools in various cases.
