grupo.
A Open Knowledge Foundation possui muitos projetos voltados a dados
my money go" (Para onde vai o meu dinheiro), "They work for you" (Eles
trabalham para você), "What do they know" (O que eles sabem)
http://wiki.okfn.org/Chapter/Brazil
e na lista de discussão
http://lists.okfn.org/mailman/listinfo/okfn-br
http://notebook.okfn.org/author/everton137
Tom

Alguém lembra desse projeto?
http://br.wikimedia.org/wiki/Teia_MG
Pois é, foram criadas várias páginas no Wikilivros,
https://pt.wikibooks.org/wiki/Especial:PrefixIndex/Constru%C3%A7%C3%A3o_col…
https://pt.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?oldid=214404#Alguns_cuidados_a_tomar
http://pt.wikibooks.org/wiki/Aprender_fazendo
iniciativas do movimento?

http://br.wikimedia.org/wiki/Campus_Party/2012/Banners
Alguém pode ajudar para refinar as idéias. Pretendo imprimí-los uma semana
antes do Campus Party.
Quem quiser e puder ajudar com o lance do projetor, me avise.
Tom
Precisamos definir quem vai ser nosso porta voz.

2012: YOUR ACTION REQUIRED
To: chapters(a)wikimedia.ch
Dear all,
In the eleven days since I first sent out the e-mail below, quite a
few chapters have chosen their delegates to the Chapters Conference
2012 or at least an interim contact person for the chapters has signed
up in http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Conference_2012/Participants.
However, we still haven't received any sign of life from the following
chapters, and our plans are for registration to end in less than two
weeks' time, by February 5th!
So may I please remind you all to speed up the choice of your
representatives to ChapConf12 - our time is running out. I would also
like to repeat that Wikimedia Deutschland, our kind host, will be
covering the flight and accommodation costs for chapters who cannot
afford it themselves.
Please, if you're from one of these chapters - list yourself as an
interim contact person. If you know how to contact anyone from those
chapters and think they are not following the list - please forward
this to them.
* Wikimedia Brazil (chapter-to-be, probably not on this list yet - can
someone forward this to any of their people?)
* Wikimedia Canada (are they on the list?)
* Wikimedia Deutschland
* Wikimedia DC (too busy with Wikimania?)
* Wikimedia Espana
* Wikimedia France
* Wikimedia Hong Kong
* Wikimedia Indonesia (Siska, you there?)
* Wikimedia Italia
* Wikimedia Kazakhstan (chapter-to-be, probably not on this list yet -
can someone forward this to any of their people?)
* Wikimedia Kenya (chapter-to-be, probably not on this list yet - can
someone forward this to any of their people?)
* Wikimedia Macedonia (Kiril, you there?)
* Wikimedia Macau (are they on the list?)
* Wikimedia Mexico
* Wikimedia Norge
* Wikimedia Polska
* Wikimedia Portugal
* Wikimedia Russia
* Wikimedia Serbia
* Wikimedia Taiwan
* Wikimedia Ukraine
* Wikimedia South Africa (apparently being added to the list as we speak)
Thank you everyone!

> Dear Chapters,
>
> I'm delighted to be making my first announcement to you as the Program Manager for the upcoming Wikimedia Conference and Chapters' Meeting 2012, which will be held in Berlin on March 30th to April 1st, 2012.
> Thursday, March 29th, will be an open day without a formal schedule, which chapters can use for any kind of meeting, sessions and workshops in the conference venue (which is TBA).
>
> You may know me as a member of Wikimedia Israel (currently its secretary) from previous Wikimanias and other events, but for this conference I'll be acting on behalf of the conference host, Wikimedia Deutschland.
>
> Together we'll work to make this an effective, useful and entertaining conference for all attendees.
> We're aiming for all 38 recognized chapters and three promising chapters-to-be to attend the conference. Every chapter will be represented by two people. We want to see some new faces, so please strive to have at least one of them be new to the chapters' conference and to international Wikimedia meetings in general.
>
> Our focus this year will be on introducing new kinds of sessions and activities in order to produce long-lasting and tangible outcomes from this conference. More on that from me later!
>
>
> For now, however, we must start the registration process, which also involves chapter selecting their representatives.
>
> IMPORTANT: The registration form is open from today until February 5th, 2012 - there will be no extension of time! Because we need to arrange for visas, travel, accommodation, food and so on, we need to confirm all
> participants no later than February 5th!!
>
> Here is what you need to do in order to register your chapter representatives to the event:
>
> 1. If you are reading this as a chapter board member or similar position, and you can take it on yourself to make sure that your chapter selects its representatives in a timely manner and that they register in due time:
> -> First PROCEED NOW to http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Conference_2012/Participants now and sign up under the "Interim contact person". This way we'll know that you're leading this task for your chapter and we'll be in contact with you if necessary to make sure that your chapter representatives register. I will consider chapters for which nobody signs up under this column as chapters who are not following this mailing list and will have to chase them personally...
> -> Then contact your fellow board members and urge them to select the chapter representatives before registration closes on February 5th!
>
> 2. If you were selected by your chapter as one of its two representatives to the conference, please:
> -> Go to http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Conference_2012/Participants and sign up under the "Representative 1" or "Representative 2" columns.
> -> Go to http://www.amiando.com/wmcon12.html and register yourself to the conference, using the entry code "chap2012berlin".

>
> I'm relying on your sincere cooperation in making this a fruitful and enjoyable conference for everyone,

Subject: Invitation to join Teaching with Wikipedia group
To: Nevio Alarcão <nevinhoalarcao(a)gmail.com>
Greetings,
You're invited to join a new listserv that's been created to discuss
teaching with Wikipedia. Dr. Robert Cummings of the University of
Mississippi is leading this email group.
This is a list for teachers of higher education who are interested in
teaching with Wikipedia or researching teaching with Wikipedia. The goal is
that list members will find support with pedagogy issues and find potential
collaborators for scholarly research around teaching with Wikipedia. It's a
list for teachers, by teachers.
At the moment, there is no web interface, so the best method of joining
the list is to send an e-mail to:
md(a)listserv.olemiss.edu
with the body of the message being:
subscribe teaching-with-wikipedia
You don't need a subject line or to include your signature or anything
else.
If you're interested in Wikipedia pedagogy, we highly encourage you to
join the list and collaborate with others who share similar interests.

Venha para o Movimento Colaborativo http://sextapoetica.com.br !!
[Sorry for using English, anyone wants a translation I am happy to provide
one.]
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give some prior notice that early in March myself, Maryana
Pinchuk, and Victor Grigas from the Foundation will be Brazil for a few
meetups. Maryana, Victor, and I will be in at least three cities (São
Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Curitiba) and may be able to come to WikiNatal
too.
This is all being discussed on the Esplanada (
https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Esplanada/geral/Wikip%C3%A9dia…)
and there are individual meetup pages linked from there. Please sign up if
you can make it, and thank you to those who have already done so. :-)
There is more detail in Portuguese at the link, but just to give a quick
overview of why we're going...
We're traveling to hear from Portuguese Wikipedians about what editing the
lusophone Wikipedia is like. We have a few questions, but otherwise no set
agenda. While the jobs of Jessie, Barry, and the new National Program
Director are largely to work with Wikimedia Brasil and the community on
outreach in the country, Maryana and I have a focus on Wikimedia
communities from all over, rather than outreach in any particular country.
This Brazil trip is part of a series of conversations we're having with
editors where we learn more about non-English Wikipedias. (Maryana and I
are both English Wikipedians primarily.)
If you have any questions, let me know. I am happy to go into more detail.

Pessoal,
Obrigado,
Fabio
