My local IT got back to me today and agreed to unblock all of Wikipedia for all 25,000 computers they manage. A bit of success for increasing access. IMO Wikimedia needs to stay on top of these issues. I have emailed Websense who created the list my institution uses. We need to work with them so that they create separate categories for health information. Maybe if Websense was contact by the WMF?

I have got a personal site unblocked in Websense by querying their classification. So they do actually read the query email and respond sensibly - though, obviously, no particular outcome is guaranteed, at least it'll get taken seriously.
