Patience is a virtue. there is nothing inhibiting projects' development in
Incubator.. right? so no harm done, continue to maintain the projects until they are migrated to their own sub-domains. or am I missing something here?

Incubator have annoying prefixes on every page, template or cat, and test administrators have limited privileges, and interwiki links doesn't work (in the direction to inubator), and it doesn't have localised interface by default, and external links from internet are too long - incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/prefix/Page.
Contributing in incubator is not comfortable.
Seven days is a week - it is a long term. Ten weeks is ten times longer!
People don't get younger over time. Waiting should have a reason. This is only waiting bureaucratic nonsense related to GFDL licenses new version. It is beginning to get rather ridiculous.

The wikis have already been created, as announced separately on this list.
If you'll take a look at the date those e-mails were sent, somehow they were sent 12 days ago but not received by the list until now.

Oh, I didn't think to check the dates. I read in another thread that some posts were held in a moderation backlog that just got cleared.
Hoi, It is still good of Jesse that he bothered to answer .. Thanks, Gerard

Hoi, +1 What I have been told is that it is for the communities to ensure that they are ok with the combined license of GFDL and CC-by-sa. My reply to that has been that the WMF could create the projects with such a license and not take action to copy in the data. In this way it is the community that is responsible for the reality of this license.
I am of the opinion that it is the responsibility of the WMF to make sure that after the outrageously long wait at least the technical part, ie the creation of the projects is dealt with. This is a situation that makes me feel unhappy. Thanks, GerardM
