Hello All,

The WikiWomen’s User Group invites all women/womxn to a meeting on Saturday Nov. 14 16:00 - 18:00 UTC. The purpose is to discuss the upcoming Movement Strategy global conversations and our priorities for implementation in 2021.

As you may know, the Movement Strategy recommendations https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/70/Wikimedia_Movement_Strategy_Recommendations_one-pager_with_graphics.pdf [1][2] were finalized back in May of this year. Without the possibility of working in person, the next steps had to take place online. The recommendations were written over two years by many Wikimedians, including some of you. As a result, there are many initiatives and actions https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/Transition/List_of_Initiatives [3] and the movement has been asked to decide which ones should be prioritized for implementation in 2021. There will be global conversations happening on November 21+22 to bring these priorities together.
