Hi all,
Wikimedia Indonesia is proud to publish our financial statements for the year 2014. Please find it in the following link: http://wikimedia.or.id/wiki/Laporan_keuangan_2014
Wikimedia Indonesia would like to thank all board of executives and trustees for their support and assistance in preparation of the financial statements.
Best regards,
Many thanks for sharing this. Especially interesting I find that you are able to manage very different amounts of money over time. Especially wmf and fdc do not always seem convinced this might be possible.

Hoi, The impression I have is that what is done may be well meant/intentioned but it is based on one size fits all. It is firmly concentrated on Wikipedia and that is not good. Thanks, GerardM

Gerard, they have several non-Wikipedia projects. For a tiny organization with one employee and less than $300k in net assets, I think that's a pretty good start. Your criticism is, I think, unfounded. Congratulations to WM-ID for a strong report and a very positive contribution to the Wikimedia movement.
Quick note on the report: In paragraph two, there is an error in the dates of the lease agreement on the English side - it should read 2014-2016, not 2016-2016. In paragraph 4, the starting account balance should be written in rupiah, not dollars.

Hoi, Sorry as I seam to have been less than clear.. It is the WMF that I am talking about the Indonesian chapter I have admired for quite some time. Thanks, GerardM

Hello,
Thank you all for the appreciation.
It's true that WMID started small but eventually got bigger and bigger funding[1]. After successful projects people begin to notice our existence, we start to have larger networks, and eventually people trust us with money, then repeat the cycle (sometimes the amount of money increases significantly, yes). Just like building a good resume of our organization.
And thanks, Nathan for spotting our error. We've fixed it now.
Best, Isabella
