We are happy to announce our new Project Manager:

Dublin-September 2023 – Wikimedia Community Ireland, the local affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sophie Fitzpatrick as its new Project Manager. She replaces the previous Programme Coordinator, Rebecca O’Neill.

Shannon Eichelberger, Volunteer Chair at Wikimedia Community Ireland, expressed their enthusiasm for the appointment, saying, "We are delighted to welcome Sophie Fitzpatrick to our team. With her expertise and passion for Wikimedia projects, we are confident that she will help us further our mission to empower individuals and communities in Ireland to share in the sum of all knowledge."

Sophie Fitzpatrick officially assumed the role on 4 September 2023, and we look forward to the positive impact she will have on our community.
