I'm very happy to announce that the Affiliations Committee has recognized [1] the Wikimedians of India Technical User Group [2] as a Wikimedia User Group. The group aims to introduce new Wikipedia technologies to volunteers, to recruit new technical contributors, and to work with Indic communities to address their technology problems and requests.
