Dear wikimedians from around the world,
We're pleased to share with you that there is already a group of more than 45 wikimedians discussing and supporting the creation of a local chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation in Brazil.
(You'll find more details at the following page: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Brasil) Please join and share with us all your comments and advices)
In November of this year we'll have the opportunity to welcome Jimmy Wales in São Paulo (he is a keynote speaker of a business conference) and a group of volunteers is deeply committed to establish the local chapter beforehand. They are working hard to follow all the steps recommended by the Chapters Committee.
(You'll find both the Portuguese and the English version of the bylaws here: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Brasil/Bylaws)
The Wikimedia Foundation's staff, particularly Jay Walsh, Kul Wadhwa and Delphine Menard, is also helping a lot with the press, business and chapter's strategies for the establishment of the organization in Brazil.
*We are sincerely thankful for all the support and we welcome everybody receiving this message to join the discussion and to help launch the Brazilian Chapter.*
Looking forward hearing from you
(Please come and visit too!)

Hey that's good news.
We'll soon, I hope, have a spanish and a portugese speaking chapter. That's just great.
Good luck with the incorporation.
All the best :)
