I think there is a plan to appoint someone to be treasurer, so that
would be a new appointment. Other than that, I don't think so - I
think it was decided not to expand the board any further until things
have settled down.
Also, is there anything in the Foundation bylaws about
how long a Board member can serve or can they be continually reappointed and/or
re-elected? Similar question about whether or not there is anything about how long someone
can serve as Chair, Vice-Chair, etc. or can those be indefinite as long as they are
supported by the Board?
I haven't read the bylaws particularly carefully, but I don't think
there are any such restrictions.
Finally, in the future, it would be helpful to have a
listing of the actual names of the people who voted in favor (or against if that were the
case). Historically, it would make the record of each vote more accurate. And/or some note
regarding who was at the meeting linked to the resolution if someone wanted to go check.
I agree, it would be nice. It is possible to work it all out by
process of elimination, but it would be good not to have to.
Are there any minutes from the Oct. 6-7 meeting
available?
Minutes are confidential (have been for a year or two now, I think)
and are not made available to the public. I still don't see why,
though (any subjects which involved confidential information can be
discussed in closed session, it's not that difficult...).
