I'm very happy to announce that the Affiliations Committee has recognized [1] the Wikimedians of Peru User Group [2] as a Wikimedia User Group. The group aims to serve as a connection between the various Wikimedia projects and the people of Peru, and to support the organization of local events as the opportunity arises.
