Hello everyone,

This is Núria Ribas-Valls (Kowalskyn https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usu%C3%A0ria:Kowalskyn), the new Chair Board at Amical Wikimedia https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Amical_Wikimedia. I am writing on behalf of the whole board to greet you. Let me introduce you to the team: Daniel Gil Solés (Dgilso https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usuari:Dgilso) is the secretary, Lluís Madurell Alemany (Lluis_tgn https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usuari:Lluis_tgn) is the treasurer, and finally, the three committee positions will be Núria Ferran-Ferrer (Nferranf https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usu%C3%A0ria:Nferranf), Yolanda Núñez (Raspilla Demekin https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usuari:Raspilla_Demekin) and Àlex Hinojo (Kippelboy https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usuari:Kippelboy).

The Assembly appointed us on July 8th; here https://wikimedia.cat/2023/07/11/la-nova-junta-damical-wikimedia-aposta-per-reforcar-lactivisme-pel-catala/, you can read the news in Catalan. In brief, our work axes will be six: community, Catalan language, open knowledge, projects, diversity, and international. We are also committed to adapting the Anti-harassment Protocol to Wikimedia's Universal Code of Conduct. Regarding the international level, we will try to learn from other Wikimedia communities worldwide: your initiatives, projects, and so on. We are interested in terms of content but also in community management, health care, and attention to diversity. With all that in mind, you will hear from us soon enough.
