A main belt asteroid No. 274301 was named after Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The minor planet was discovered by the team of astronomers of Andrushivka Astronomical Observatory (A50) in Ukraine. At first it was observed by that team on August 25, 2008.
The name was proposed by the Wikimedia Ukraine Board member Andriy Makukha.

I think a big thanks is due to Wikimedia Ukraine - the story says *"The name was proposed by the Board member of organization "Wikimedia Ukraine" Andriy Makukha".*
I think that can go down on the nomination list for 'coolest project by a chapter' this year...
