Multiple people involved in the project have been insuccessful in contacting Danny about the matter.

I think it would be a pretty safe assumption that the grant came from the latter. The former seems to be entirely tied to Emory University and the Lewis H. Beck Center, and its stated purposes don't correlate with the grant.
