Hello everyone,
I would like to invite everyone for this year's last Open Conversation with Trustees https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_Community_Affairs_Committee/2022-12-15_Conversation_with_Trustees, which will take place on December 15th. As promised, we are alternating the timing of these meetings and this one will be at 12:00 UTC (find your local time https://zonestamp.toolforge.org/1671105652).
As usual, the call will be hosted by the Board of Trustees' Community Affairs Committee (CAC), though this meeting is planned to be a bit different -- more low-key and probably with less topics discussed. The final agenda will be posted on Meta and shared here closer to the event. We will be keeping the 90 minutes call duration, and will include both updates from the Board and an open discussion with your questions.
The call will be held on Zoom with a live YouTube stream https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7lr8jNr1Es. We’d love to be able to talk with you directly, so we encourage you to join us live on Zoom if you can! *Request the Zoom* link by emailing askcac@wikimedia.org. You can also request to join a mailing list that receives the link automagically whenever we host a meeting, by emailing us.
You can also email askcac@wikimedia.org to *request language interpretation up to 5 days before the meeting*. We will aim to provide interpretation for any language where there are five or more interested community members.
Finally, you are welcome to *pre-submit questions* for the Board via the same email, askcac@wikimedia.org. Knowing in advance what is on your mind will help us give you more informed answers during the call. So for now, save the date and sign up!.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing as many of you there,
Shani, on behalf of the CAC.
