It's funny as a private joke; it would be annoying as a way to give the
finger to our visitors.

'wikipedia' in your browser and it sent you automatically to
'wikipedia.com' and now we're going to make fun of you! Ha ha! We think
you're stupid!"
Particularly annoying since we used that domain actively for the first
couple years.
