I think those links must not be added since it is somehow a form of
advertising for sites like digg or facebook, IMHO. Those who are really
interested in this and really need this should write a JavaScript to allow
such links to be added.

I don't see how things like Digg are useful for an encyclopaedia.
Aren't they more for topical stuff? The only thing you really need to
share a page is to copy and paste the URL into an email, people can do
that without our help.
