now, so I don't think it'd be hard to do better than the commercial
companies. Yes, the copyright on this information is legally shaky,
but EULAs and DRM usually fills those gaps.
BTW, I was thinking more of "yellow pages" than "white pages"

The copyright on "yellow pages" is much stronger legally.
The copyright issue might not be such a big problem. It's the
mind-numbing tedium of writing a phone book that turns me off. But then
if we have enough minds that are numb enough, maybe they should go for
it. :-)
