The Board has been using OTRS (<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OTRS>)
for around a year now to receive mails sent to the "board at
wikimedia.org" address. However, the volume of mail received there has
become too much to deal with, so this has been split into two queues:
Board and Board-Private.
Everyone with an official position
(<http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WMF_organigram#Wikimedia_committees_and_Official_positions>)
now has full access to the Board queue, where they will be able to
deal with any mails relevant to their own position, or move mails that
really do need to be answered by the Board to the Board's new private
queue.
Any pages on the wikis that mention the board at
wikimedia.org address
should be updated to explain that it is no longer only the Board who
will be reading mails sent there.
