This would become very large, annoying and unhelpful for almost all
users of the wiki. Perhaps something that can be switched on by those
who want to see whether their own wiki has a given article? That may
be possible just in personal CSS.

Hoi,
A personal CSS is not the panacea where you can put things under the
rug. For most people this is not an issue. Most people are simple, such
a "solution" is at best something for one percent of our editors if that.
