This is actually not accurate. The NEH grant would have gone ahead,
except that we ran out of time. We heard about it too late, and as it
was our first major grant proposal, there was a lot of background work
that needed to be done.
Each subsequent proposal is easier, because we have now formed the
groundwork to do these in a more efficient manner.
