As I mentioned last month, we are making some tweaks to the monthly activities meeting to help better reflect the meeting's current purpose. We will be discussing some of the changes at the next meeting. In short, we are working to make it easier for anyone in the community to sign up to give a presentation. We are also changing the name of the meeting from "Wikimedia Foundation metrics and activities meeting" to the "Wikimedia monthly activities meeting". This new name better reflect the meeting's scope beyond just the Wikimedia Foundation and reality that the metrics discussed during this meeting several years ago have long-ago moved to more frequently updated and accessible platforms (such as the online report card and related analytics reports). The next Wikimedia monthly activities meeting will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 6:00 PM UTC (11 AM PDT). The IRC channel is #wikimedia-office on https://webchat.freenode.net, and the meeting will be broadcast as a live YouTube stream.[1] We will post the video recording publicly after the meeting.
